It features a fiber-loaded nitrile body, fiberglass cords, and nylon cover for low noise, low friction, and antistatic performance. Teeth are covered with graphite-embedded fabric. HVAC and Appliances
Megadyne carries belts for the appliance and HVAC aftermarket industries. These belts are easily matched to OEM-specified belts to extend the service life of heating and cooling equipment, pumps, blowers, and other appliances.
The Dynamic-X V-belt is one of many drive belt options for HVAC and appliance applications. These are made with a cotton-polyester backing fabric, EPDM body, and polyester cords. They are non-slip, resistant to ozone, operate in low and high temperatures, and are static conductive. Cogs are specially designed for better performance with small-diameter pulleys and high-speed drives.
Megadyne’s Accu-Link product is another beneficial solution for the HVAC and appliance industries. An alternative to traditional rubber V-belts, Accu-Link combines high durability and strength with fast and simple assembly and installation. The links are constructed with a polyurethane material that is reinforced by a multilayer woven polyester fabric. Its independent link design allows for smooth and quiet operation, and it can resist a variety of environmental factors, including chemicals, salt, grease, oils, and high/low temperatures.
Logistics
Logistics facilities use conveyance equipment to transport products, boxes, and cases and powered equipment for lifting and moving heavy loads. Constructed from polyurethane 85 ShA, this product features a high friction surface, high-strength aramid tensile members, a yellow finish for easy wear detection, and anti-static fabric for reduced friction and dust abrasion.
